How to Personalise Your Display
Map and table set up
If your screen resolution is HD (1920px wide by 1080px high) or above you will be able to personalise your display within Data Discovery, for narrower screens some personalisation is available but manoeuvering the map, other than hiding, is not.
For narrow screens, the default layout is for the map to be above Project ID table, with the Files Table underneath both.
For wider screens the default setting is for the map and the Project ID table to be adjacent to each other, with the Files Table underneath.
The map can be hidden entirely by clicking the hide map button and reinstated by clicking the show map button.
To change the layout of wide screens you can click "fit width" or "fit height". Fit width will enlarge the map to fill the width of the screen with the Project ID table displayed below.
Reset width will bring the Project ID table back alongside the map.
The "fit height" button will shrink or expand the "element", e.g. Project IDs Table or Map, to the available browser screen height.
If you display the table below the map you may extend it to be screen width by clicking the "fit width" button, as with the map
If, however, you want to display the Project ID Table alongside the Files Table, click the "reset width" button on both tables and they will appear side by side.
To reposition the Project ID Table alongside the map, simply click the "reset width" button on the map.
If you wish the Files Table to sit next to the Map view, first set up with the Map and Project ID Table next to each other, and then click the "Swap tables" tab.
This brings up the following view, just click the "Swap tables" table again to return the view.
Table columns
You can manoeuvre the columns around to suit your needs. You simply click on the column title and drag the column to the location you wish. You can not move columns between the Project ID Table and the Files Table.
Though columns can not be hidden entirely, the width of columns can be altered, so you can make columns that are not relevant to you very narrow.
Additional Well information columns can be added to the Project ID Table by clicking the "Add well columns" tab.
This adds the following columns.
Once showing, these additional columns can, too, be moved. To remove them entirely simply click the "Remove well columns" tab.
You can "freeze" the first four default columns so that when you scroll sideways they are always in view. To do this click the down arrow beside the column and click freeze or unfreeze
You can also bookmark Project IDs that are frequently visited by you, rather than having to search each time. Select the rows you wish to bookmark and then click the down arrow above the second column and select Add Bookmarks
You can then view your bookmarked Project IDs by clicking Show bookmarks. To see all data again click the clear filters button
Any display changes that you make will be saved locally in your browser's cache.
