Submit A Missing Files Request
If you find that there is data missing from a particular Project ID, you can submit a missing file request.
From the Project ID table left click on the orange tab under FCNT.
This will bring up the following form:
The availability status of information types is indicated as:
- Available: If a file is present with a corresponding Classification a circle icon • will automatically appear in the Available column. Users may still submit a data request for additional information - please indicate in supporting comments whether the existing data should be replaced or whether additional data should be loaded.
- Unavailable: There is no file present with the corresponding Classification Tag. An authorised user from the Data Reporting Group has set the Inventory to show that this data was acquired, but it cannot be made available to the NDR. Users may submit a request for this data to be reported but the likelihood of it being provided is reduced.
- Not Acquired: There is no file present with the corresponding Classification Tag. An authorised user from the Data Reporting Group has set the Inventory to show that this data was not acquired. Users may submit a request for this data to be reported but the likelihood of it being provided is reduced.
-
This is not a definitive listing of which files exist in the NDR, but CTAGs which are marked available are something that could be considered in the collection. For example, a LOG_WIRE in TIFF form from a 1969 well might be in TIFF rather than LAS unless reconfigured and modernised, though in the missing data form LOG_WIRE might well be "available".
You can select, using the tick boxes, the data types that are missing.
At the bottom of the form there is the submit button and just above this is a text box where you can leave further information that will help with your request.
Once the form has been submitted, the NSTA will be informed.
